Delete your Orbit account

Orbit is run by Admonis LLC. You can delete your account here, without the app: enter the email address you use with Orbit and we will send you a link that deletes it. In the app, it is under Settings, then Delete account.

Signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email? Enter the address Apple made for you, ending in privaterelay.appleid.com. The link reaches you through it.

A child’s account has no email address. The adult who supervises them deletes it in the app, by removing them from the loop.

Deleting is permanent and immediate. There is no undo, and nobody at Orbit can restore it afterwards.

  • Your account, your devices, your places and your location history are removed.
  • Every loop you own is deleted, with its places, its shared history and everyone’s access to it.
  • The people in those loops are emailed to say it has gone.
  • Anyone you supervise who has no other loop is removed with it. Everyone else keeps their own account.

Afterwards we keep nothing about you. The daily usage totals in our privacy policy count everybody together and name nobody, and server logs, which record an account id but never an email address or a location, expire on their own.
